Concept 139’s management team has been led by Director/Producer Uppili Raghavachari since September 2007. With over 30 years of combined film industry experience, they have built Concept 139 from a small independent studio to take on more of a diverse role creating the next generation of digital, theatrical and broadcast content. The Company is expected to develop further with a view to seek a merger with another production company in the near future.
Led by Uppili Raghavachari, the Company explores the limitless possibilities of digital filmmaking with the latest technology and innovation. An experienced Film Director and Producer, Uppili knows the film business well, and has numerous contacts and a fantastic eye for talent which he combines to make unique, inspiring films that change the world.
Uppili is an experienced Financier and Corporate Treasurer who has over 17 years experience in finance and treasury. He has trained at some of the world’s most reputable film institutions including the National Film & Television School, Met Film School, London Film School and the London Film Academy. He is a close supporter of the London Screenwriters festival and Raindance and runs one of the fastest growing pools of indie film talent in London, a not-for-profit organisation that helps young and emerging talent in the UK and Europe – London Indie Filmmakers.
